Does SideClue join the meeting as a bot?

No. SideClue is a local desktop app on your computer (Windows or Mac). It captures audio from your microphone and system output directly. It does not join meeting rooms, appear to other participants, or send a bot link.

What does SideClue do with audio?

During a session, audio is processed in real time to create a live transcript. The audio itself is never recorded or stored, so there is no cloud recording, replay, or archive.

Who is SideClue for?

Does it work with Zoom, Teams, or Google Meet?

Yes. SideClue works with any meeting platform because it captures audio at the OS level, not inside the meeting app. No plugin, extension, or bot account is required.

What operating systems does SideClue support?

SideClue is available for Windows 64-bit and macOS (universal build for Apple Silicon and Intel).

How is SideClue different from Gong or Chorus?

Gong and Chorus analyze calls after they end. SideClue works during the conversation in real time. SideClue does not join as a bot, does not record to the cloud, and does not require IT integration.

Is SideClue free?

SideClue has a free plan with 5 live minutes per month. Paid plans add more live minutes, AI answers, and notes.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Sign in to your account billing page and open Manage subscription. You can cancel anytime through the Stripe customer portal.

Does SideClue store my conversations?

SideClue does not store call audio. Transcripts and meeting notes can sync to your SideClue account when cloud sync is enabled — you can turn this off in Settings. A local copy always stays on your device.
